TOLHOUSE IS FOR THE VIBRANT. For as long as I can remember, I’ve heard that Toledo was right on the cusp of finally realizing its potential, turning a corner, and becoming the vibrant city that for too long had escaped our grasp.

Whether it was because of bad governmental and political decisions, the lack of visionary leadership or the absence of follow-through, or even the evolution of industry that ultimately sent our cornerstone ones in decline, it seems we couldn’t get it right.

It feels different now. Even if only slightly.

Just before COVID made its way into our shared vocabulary, downtown Toledo had started to see something I can’t recall seeing throughout my entire lifetime: actual people in the streets. Humans walking on the sidewalks, eating outdoors, or standing in line for food trucks or entry into open-air concerts. The city was changing before our eyes.

TolHouse is foremost about community; creating ecosystem for vibrant city-dwellers. We take no shortcuts to make it beautiful, yes, but the spaces are designed to put each of us in the state of mind to dream together, to share enjoyable moments, and find synergies.

Our efforts are aimed at curating experiences where we can find fresh inspiration. When we happen to be sitting next to the right person at the bar, we find ourselves closer to the realization of our business goals. When we secure our solo seat for the afternoon, we can get lost in a cup of tea and book, or people-watch while dreaming up our next adventure. When we meet up with friends for cocktails after hours (or during the day, who’s judging?), the bonds between us are forged.

Each of these experiences help us more effectively work to solidify the progression of our community.

So, this is TolHouse. The House built for you, designed around the way you move and find inspiration.
